Apartment Prices in Poland Get Absurdly High

Apartment prices in Poland, like in the European Union, have been rising for years. However, what undoubtedly distinguishes us is the pace of this growth. The rates currently on the market border on grim absurdity. Fewer and fewer people can afford their own "M" (home).
Warsaw is the leader in prices per square meter, whereas in the primary market, we will pay an average of PLN 17,000 per meter – according to data from the portal RynekPierwotny.pl. There are currently no apartments priced under PLN 9,000 in the capital. Even those priced at PLN 10,000 make up just 2 percent of all offers. Most apartments in developers' portfolios, as much as 57 percent, cost more than PLN 15,000 per meter.
But in other large Polish cities, the situation is no better. In Kraków, the average price per square meter of new apartments offered by developers exceeded the threshold of PLN 16,000, in the Tri-City – PLN 15,000, and Łódź – PLN 11,000.
