BGK launched recruitment for €5 bln for KPO loans for offshore wind farms
The Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego (BGK) is now accepting applications for loans for offshore wind energy projects, supported by nearly €5 billion from the National Reconstruction Plan (KPO). This initiative is part of the Fund for Offshore Wind Energy.
Deputy Minister Jacek Bartmiński announced that the project, worth nearly €5 billion, has progressed to its next phase. BGK and the Ministry of State Assets signed a cooperation agreement, a milestone achieved two months ahead of schedule.
Currently, five consortia are identified among seven projects, including two involving PGE and Orlen. Other entities may also apply. This is the third agreement signed under the KPO, and BGK's Vice President Marta Postuła emphasized that the application process has officially begun.
