Creotech Instruments and Eutelsat will implement space plans for Europe
Polish space company Creotech Instruments, listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, has signed a strategic partnership with French satellite operator Eutelsat to develop secure satellite communications in Europe. The agreement focuses on cooperation within the EU’s IRIS² program, a €10.6 billion project to build a low orbit telecommunications network for civil and military use. Creotech will adapt its satellite platforms, including micro and small satellites, to IRIS² requirements, while its spin off Creotech Quantum will contribute quantum secure communication technologies such as QKD and post quantum cryptography.
The partnership aims to strengthen Europe’s technological sovereignty and expand Poland’s role in the European space supply chain.
