Royal Garden of Lights in Wilanów Becomes a Winter Staple in Warsaw

The Royal Garden of Lights in Wilanów has become an integral part of the winter landscape in the capital. According to the latest K+Research study, more than half of Warsaw’s residents can't imagine the city without this attraction. This winter, the number of visitors to the garden may exceed 3.5 million, making it one of the most popular winter attractions, not only in Poland but also across Europe.
As many as 83 percent of the capital’s residents, including almost 90 percent of women from Warsaw, know about the Royal Garden of Lights. Its popularity has long surpassed the city’s borders, and even the country’s. The light and music exhibition, the largest of its kind in Europe, now attracts visitors from around the world, and during the winter, it is one of the main attractions in the Warsaw metropolitan area.
The K+Research survey, commissioned by Multidekor in October, revealed that 55 percent of Warsaw residents have already visited the Royal Garden of Lights, while another 32 percent plan to do so soon. One in three respondents can’t imagine Wilanów Palace without the annual illumination.
