Standard Chartered opens its new office in Warsaw HUB

Leading international bank Standard Chartered has opened a new work space for its employees on the top floors of one of the most modern office complexes in Poland, The Warsaw HUB at Rondo Daszyńskiego. In total, almost 7,000 sqm of modern, functional and safe work space for a team of up to 1,000 people.
On August 10, the first two of the four floors scheduled for delivery this year were launched. The next two will be launched before the end of September, and the grand opening is scheduled for early October. The fifth floor is scheduled to be commissioned next year. Since the registration of the Polish company Standard Chartered in June 2018, the company's headquarters have been located in the renovated interiors of an office building from 1998, at ul. Towarowa 25a.
ʺThat office used to date has served its purpose well as a temporary location, but it is time to move to the final seat. The new office not only offers higher functional standards, but is also better suited to the profile of our business in Poland.
Within two years, we have created a team of over 600 experienced experts in Warsaw, providing highly specialized services to other companies from the Standard Chartered Group. Many of the tasks performed by our employees are related to advanced technologies and processes, which corresponds to the nature of The Warsaw HUB complex,” Rowena Everson, Managing Director of Standard Chartered GBS Poland, said.
ʺThe Warsaw HUB is the most modern and at the same time the most functional building we have completed so far, which goes far beyond the scope of an ordinary office complex. When designing it, we wanted it to be a self-sufficient facility, where all the functions and services needed for the functioning of a modern business would be under one roof. We are very happy that these advantages have been recognized by a leading international bank, Standard Chartered,” Jarosław Zagórski, commercial and development director at Ghelamco Poland, said.
