Average labor cost per hour in Poland up to €10.7
The average labor cost per hour in Poland reached €10.7 last year, compared to the EU average of €27.7, according to Eurostat data. The average labor cost per hour in the euro area was €31.4.
The lowest costs were recorded in Bulgaria (€6), Romania (€7.7), Lithuania (€9.4), Hungary (€9.9) and Latvia (€9.9), while the highest in Denmark (€44.7), Luxembourg (€41.6), Belgium (€40.5), France (€36.6), the Netherlands (€36.4 euros) and Sweden (€36.3).
The average labor cost of one hour of work in Poland last year was €10.4 in the business economy, €10.5 in industry, €10.1 in construction, and €10.5 in services, Eurostat also reported.
