Companies still too slow to respond to cyberattacks
Poland’s largest companies report growing cybersecurity maturity, but their actual resilience remains weak. Fortinet’s latest study shows that even well-organized firms struggle to respond quickly to cyberthreats – and the first hours after an incident are crucial in limiting damage. Only 47% of large companies can act within two hours of detecting an incident; others react depending on the attack type. Although most organizations have procedures, slow response times and limited automation remain major gaps. Full automation supports only 16% of firms, leaving most reliant on manual action.
Despite rising awareness and formal strategies, many businesses still underestimate risks, especially in neglected systems like websites. External cybersecurity services are growing, yet 41% of companies still do not use them, which may hinder resilience as threats intensify.
