More and more businesses operating in Poland declare to achieve climate neutrality in the next decade. Already now some corporations use only green electricity, using renewable energy sources.

E. Wedel has been using 100 percent green energy from wind farms since 2020. "In this way we not only reduce CO2 emissions but also respond to global climate challenges. Our headquarters in Warsaw’s Praga district, where the factory and office space are located, is using RES,” says Aleksandra Kusz vel Sobczuk, Wedel’s Corporate Communications Manager. The company’s electricity is supplied by Tauron as part of its EKO Premium ecological offer.

Wedel’s CSR strategy, embedded in its long-term business goals, assumes minimizing the negative impact on the environment. „The use of wind energy is an important aspect of this area which we plan to continue in the future. We are currently working with one of our key partners to develop sustainable solutions for logistics processes which will also have a bearing on environmental issues”, says Aleksandra Kusz vel Sobczuk.
