Exports from Poland no longer semi-finished products
In 2025, the value of one kilogram of Polish exports exceeded EUR 3 for the first time, reaching EUR 3.04, a 6.7% annual increase. The rise cannot be explained solely by inflation or exchange rate changes, suggesting a structural shift toward more advanced and processed goods. The share of high technology products such as aerospace equipment, electronics, pharmaceuticals, and scientific instruments has grown from 8.7% a decade ago to over 10.7% of total exports. Indicators of revealed comparative advantage also show increasing specialization in high tech sectors.
Although Germany’s export value per kilogram remains higher at EUR 4.50, Poland has been catching up faster since joining the EU.
