IMF: Inflation in Poland in 2020 to be highest in entire EU

In 2020, inflation in Poland is expected to rise the fastest in the European Union, and this situation is expected to persist until 2023, forecasts the International Monetary Fund, the calculation of which is described by Bankier.pl. The IMF October forecast says inflation in Poland is expected to reach 3.5% next year, and then to decline slowly, to reach below 2,0% only in 2024.
On the plus side, the Fund raised the forecast of Poland's GDP growth in 2020 to 4 percent from 3.8 percent. While this year we are to be in third place in the EU in terms of economic growth, taking into account Ireland and Malta, next year we will be overtaken by Hungary.
