Inflation expectations indicator in Poland dropped to 37.5 points

The consumer inflation expectations index in Poland fell to 37.5 points in February from 39.0 points in January, according to the European Commission. The index reflects how consumers expect prices to change over the next 12 months.
The calculation includes respondents anticipating faster price increases, partially accounts for those expecting stable prices, and subtracts the percentage of those predicting price declines. The index is seasonally adjusted and forms part of the Economic Sentiment Indicator (ESI), published monthly for EU-27 countries. In Poland, the data is collected by GfK Polonia, based on surveys conducted in the first 12 days of each month with at least 1,020 respondents.
