mBank earned PLN 3.5 bln in ‘25, highest net profit in history
mBank is set to close last year with the highest net profit in its history, reporting record earnings of 3.54 billion złoty in 2025, up sharply from the previous year. In the fourth quarter alone, net profit reached 1.04 billion złoty, exceeding market expectations. Loan and deposit volumes grew at double-digit rates, supporting modest gains in market share. Management emphasized that these results mark only the beginning of the bank’s growth strategy through 2028. Legal risks related to Swiss-franc mortgages continued to decline significantly, with the portfolio nearly eliminated and fewer new lawsuits filed.
Capital levels remain strong, allowing for further expansion, although the bank confirmed it will not pay a dividend for 2025.
