Poland’s government is calling for faster delivery of major infrastructure projects to support economic growth and national security. Infrastructure Minister Dariusz Klimczak stressed that roads, railways, and aviation require not only funding but, above all, simpler regulations and less bureaucracy. Speaking at an EEC Trends debate, he argued that excessive procedures slow investments across Poland and the EU. Deputy minister Maciej Lasek warned that Poland’s security cannot afford delays caused by appeals to the National Appeals Chamber, as many projects involve critical or dual-use infrastructure.

Both officials called for streamlined procedures, stable schedules, more staffing in key offices, and faster, well-argued administrative decisions to avoid investment bottlenecks.
