More banks join the ‘Safe 2% Loan’ program
Bank Spółdzielczy Rzemiosła in Krakow and BPS have signed a cooperation agreement with BGK regarding the Safe 2% Loan, according to the list published by BGK of participating banks. There are currently seven banks on the list.
These banks are: Alior Bank, Bank Pekao, Bank Spółdzielczy Rzemiosła in Krakow, BPS, PKO BP, SGB-Bank, and Velo Bank.
The "Safe 2% Loan" program for individuals wishing to purchase their first apartment will come into effect on July 1, 2023. It includes subsidies for housing loan installments (the difference between a fixed interest rate based on the average interest rate for fixed-rate loans in participating banks and an interest rate in line with the 2 percent rate). The subsidies will be in effect for 10 years.
