Poland’s Synthetic Future Situation Indicator (SSP) rose in the latest NBP “Quick Monitoring” survey, signaling that companies expect an improvement in business conditions in the first quarter of 2026. In Q4 2025, assessments of current conditions remained broadly neutral, reflecting a balance between better economic and demand conditions and weaker liquidity and debt-servicing capacity. Across all company groups, sentiment ranged from neutral to good. The rise in the future outlook index was driven by nearly all its components, with the exception of the cyclical labor market factor.

Overall, businesses across sectors expect either stabilization or an improvement in the economic climate in early 2026, indicating growing cautious optimism despite lingering challenges.
