Poland is moving toward full price transparency in the real estate market. A new law, recently approved by the Senate, will require developers to publish and update property prices on their websites and in a government database (dane.gov.pl). While the goal is to improve market transparency, experts warn the law is poorly drafted and contains ambiguities—such as unclear definitions and inconsistencies around what constitutes a sale.

Developers could face fines of up to 10% of annual revenue for non-compliance. A separate project, the DOM Portal, would disclose transaction prices, raising concerns over privacy. If implemented, anyone—including family, neighbors, or employers—could potentially see what someone paid for a home.
