Poles making uncertain financial decisions
A survey by SW Research for Smartney Grupa Oney shows that 80.2 percent of Poles do not feel fully confident about personal finance. Although most manage accounts, loans and savings, only 19.8 percent believe they have sufficient knowledge to make informed decisions. Many respondents admit partial understanding of financial products, while over 30 percent act cautiously due to uncertainty.
Nearly half consult financial decisions with a partner, but few seek professional advice. Instead, they rely on family, friends, the internet or AI tools. Basic budgeting knowledge is also limited, as fewer than 17 percent apply the 50/30/20 rule. Experts stress that better education and user friendly digital tools are essential to improve financial confidence.
