As much as PLN 2,800 gross is to be the minimum wage in 2021, according to the draft adopted by the government. This means that full-time employees with such a minimum wage rate will earn about PLN 2,061 net. The hourly rate is to increase to PLN 18.30 gross

Currently, the rate is PLN 2600 gross, i.e. about PLN 1920 net and PLN 17 gross per hour

The minimum wage will thus increase by 7.7 percent from 2021. This also means withdrawing from the original government plan, in which the minimum wage from 2021 was to be PLN 3,000 gross.

According to the Government Information Center (CIR), the implementation of this act will increase state budget expenditure by approx. PLN 385.8 million. Adoption of the proposed hourly rate will increase budget expenditures by approx. PLN 2.5 million.
