Despite Poland’s declining birth rate, spending on children’s products is rising, reaching around PLN 15 billion in 2024 and projected to exceed PLN 17 billion by 2029, according to OC&C Strategy Consultants. Average spending per child rose to €540 in 2024 and may reach €680 by 2029, driven by higher household incomes and family support programs like 800+ and Babciowe. Premium toys (e.g. Lego, Hot Wheels) are the fastest-growing segment, expanding twice as fast as the overall market.

Spending is especially high for 10–14-year-olds, fueled by social media influence and interest in fashion—teenagers drive demand for branded apparel. Retailers like Sinsay and Smyk are expanding their youth offerings as the market shows strong growth potential.
