PwC: 89% of Polish employees are ready to learn and retrain

Automation creates more opportunities than threats in the opinion of 63% of Polish employees who took part in the “Upskilling Hopes & Fears” survey, carried out by PwC. 67% of respondents positively perceive the impact of technology on their current work, although they realize that it will be necessary for them to acquire new competencies to stay in the labor market. 89% of Polish employees are ready to learn and retrain, according to the survey.
“On the one hand, the automation of work in Poland may partly solve the problem of a widening gap in the labor market, while on the other hand, it makes employers responsible for developing the skills of their staff who must learn to work in a digital environment,” said Adam Krasoń, president of PwC for Poland, Ukraine, and the Baltic States.
