Residential building permits down 20.9% y/y in August – GUS
The number of dwellings for which building permits have been issued or construction project notices filed decreased by 20.9% in August from a year earlier to 21,530 and by 2.1% on a monthly basis, the Central Statistical Office (GUS) reported.
The investors building houses for sale or rent received 14,148 permits last month (down 14.5% year-on-year and up 0.9% month-on-month), the GUS reported.
