Tabelaofert data shows 8% increase in apartment sales in November
Sales of new apartments in Poland increased sharply in November, rising by 8.2% m/m despite two long holiday weekends, according to Tabelaofert.pl. Average prices across the ten largest cities fell marginally by 0.02%, though most developers raised list prices while offering discounts. The strongest price increases were recorded in the Tri-City area, Lublin, and Łódź, while declines were seen in Wrocław and Poznań.
Year on year, prices were still 3.3% higher on average, led by the Tri-City and Bydgoszcz. Demand remains concentrated in lower-priced units. Falling inflation and recent interest rate cuts to 4% are expected to further support housing demand in coming months.
