The IMF sees good prospects for the Polish economy

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) forecasts the growth of Poland's GDP for this year at the level of 5.2 percent, and for the next year, it is expecting 4.5 percent growth. In the years 2024-2026, the expected GDP growth is 3 percent annually.
The IMF indicated in a statement published at the end of the mission that the Polish economy was showing increasing resilience to the next waves of the pandemic, and industry and exports were able to deal with disruptions in the supply chain better than most EU countries.
"However, authorities should consider strategies to increase vaccination coverage in Poland to reduce health risks and mitigate the possibility of further economic disruptions related to the pandemic," the release reads.
"The outlook for the Polish economy in the medium term remains favorable, with the expected minimal effects of the pandemic," the IMF assessed.
