Bart will double cardboard packaging production capacity for €100 mln
Polish corrugated packaging producer Bart plans to build its second factory in northeastern Poland in a phased investment worth up to EUR 100 mln. The facility will eventually process about 150,000 tons of paper annually, matching the capacity of its existing plant in Sulnowo. Bart recently completed a EUR 60 mln expansion program that increased production capacity by 50%. The company holds about 4% of Poland’s market and generated PLN 412.3 mln in revenue in 2025.
Approximately 35% of its output is exported, mainly to Scandinavia. Growth is being driven by e-commerce, FMCG producers, recycling requirements, and the shift from plastic to paper packaging. Bart is also considering acquisitions as Europe’s fragmented packaging market consolidates.
