Green roofs of Towarowa 22 to clean air in Warsaw

Ecological projects are being created all the time, and one of the most interesting is being designed by the famous Bjarke Ingels Group. Towarowa 22 will be built in Warsaw's Wola, setting a new standard in ecological construction.
In a survey conducted by SW Research, residents of Warsaw indicated that they lack greenery most in the city. As many as 81 percent of respondents mentioned this feature as the most important element of their dream place in the capital. However, the capital's ideal is still far away.
Towarowa 22 is a new investment in Warsaw's Wola district – a place that combines residential, social, cultural, service and office functions. The survey was to allow project architects, the famous BIG Architects Bjarke Ingels Group, responsible, among others for Lego House in Denmark, VIA West 57 and 2 World Trade Center in New York and Google headquarters in California, learn more about the needs of city residents and how Warsaw residents perceive the investment area. This prompted architects to include in the Towarowa project, among others, large roof gardens that will become an urban island of greenery.
