Poland’s exports exceeded PLN 1.55 trillion in 2025, but the trade balance remained negative at PLN 26.3 billion, according to the Central Statistical Office. Exports rose 2% year on year, while imports increased 3.9%, meaning Poland bought more goods than it sold abroad. Developed countries accounted for 87.1% of exports, with the European Union representing nearly three quarters. Germany was by far Poland’s largest export market, absorbing 26.9% of total exports, followed by the Czech Republic and France. On the import side, Germany also ranked first, ahead of China and the United States.

Poland recorded a surplus with developed countries but a large deficit with developing economies.
