Budimex was honored with a distinction in the prestigious competition ‘The Best Annual Report 2019’ for the best statement on the application of corporate governance in the company. The competition is organized for listed companies by the Institute of Accounting and Taxes. The aim of the competition is to promote annual reports of the highest utility value for shareholders and investors. Companies from the regulated market and NewConnect take part in it.

“We were awarded for the first time in this competition. It is extremely important to us because it is organized by entities co-creating the stock exchange and financial system in Poland. We stand in one row in terms of the quality of corporate governance communication for 2019 with the likes of PGNIG, PGE and Grupa Azoty,” Cezary Mączka, Member of the Management Board of Budimex, director of the Human Resource Management Division, said.

The results of the 15th edition of the ‘The Best Annual Report’ competition were announced on October 15, during a gala held in the Quotation Room, in the Warsaw Stock Exchange (WSE) building. This competition is one of the most important and valued competitions of this type in Poland. The strategic patron of the competition is the WSE.

‘The Best Annual Report’ competition aims to create good practices and standards for the preparation of annual reports in accordance with the applicable formal requirements and recommendations of international institutions. The Institute of Accounting and Taxes promotes reports of the highest utility value for shareholders and investors.
