Bulgaria and Hungary have highest increase in housing prices in Q4 ‘24

Bulgaria and Hungary recorded the highest increase in housing prices in the fourth quarter of 2024 compared to the same period in 2023 - according to Eurostat data.
In Bulgaria, prices rose by 18.3 percent, and in Poland by 13.0 percent.
In Hungary there was an increase of 13.4 percent and in Croatia of 12.3 percent.
Among the "old" EU countries, the highest growth was recorded in Portugal and Spain - 11.6 and 11.4 percent.
Price drops were recorded only in France and Finland – 1.9 percent each.
In Poland, prices rose by 10.4 percent.
