The number of companies that see problems with timely payments of contractors’ liabilities has increased from 17.1 percent to 19.2 percent in Q1 2019, according to a study by the National Debt Register (KRD) and the Conference of Financial Enterprises (KPF).  The average time of waiting for payments from contractors has increased from 3 months and 15 days to 3 months and 24 days.

In the first quarter of this year, the value of the Enterprise Receivables Index (INP), which measures the level of payment gridlocks of Polish companies, fell to 87 points. This is the lowest value of the index since July 2013. The lower the INP indicator, the larger the scale of payment gridlocks.
