NFOŚiGW will allocate PLN 37 billion to green transformation programs in 2026
In 2026, Poland’s National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management (NFOŚiGW) will focus on implementing 48 priority programs, allocating a record 37 billion złoty to the green transition, primarily for energy transformation and climate protection. The fund has launched more than 30 active calls for applications, supporting businesses, local governments, and households in areas such as renewable energy, energy efficiency, climate adaptation, and high-efficiency cogeneration. Most investments financed under the National Recovery Plan (KPO) will be settled this year. Planned initiatives include changes to the “Clean Air” program, development of micro-retention systems, zero-emission transport in national parks, and new photovoltaic and energy storage schemes.
Funding will come from EU funds, the Modernization Fund, and national resources.
