In the first quarter of 2019, 285 companies in Poland went under, which means an increase of 10 percent y/y, Euler Hermes said.
“This is currently the fourth consecutive year when the number of insolvencies of Polish companies has increased, and over the past quarter we saw the highest number of insolvencies in decades,” the commentary reads.
In March alone, 100 companies went bankrupt, against 102 in March 2018.
