‘After the court verdict, we expect Prime Minister Morawiecki to resign’: KO

“Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki is fully responsible for the illegal activities of Poczta Polska, we expect the immediate resignation of the head of the government. On Wednesday, the KO club will again submit an application to the prosecutor's office to investigate the unlawful actions of Prime Minister Morawiecki,” Borys Budka, the head of the KO club, said.

On Tuesday, the Provincial Administrative Court in Warsaw decided that the April decision of the Prime Minister obliging Poczta Polska to prepare in May this year the presidential election by correspondence grossly violated the law.

Budka said at a press conference in the Sejm that the Provincial Administrative Court confirmed the position on the postal elections, which was presented by KO from the very beginning.

"Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki is fully responsible for the unlawful actions of Poczta Polska. From this point we expect the immediate resignation of the Prime Minister. It is not only a matter of honor, but it is a matter of obvious, elementary decency. Mateusz Morawiecki bears political and legal responsibility," Budka said,
