We have 267 new cases of coronavirus infection confirmed by positive laboratory tests, 38,457 people have fallen ill in Poland since the beginning of the epidemic and a total of 1,588 people have died, the country’s health ministry (MZ) informed on July 14.
According to MZ data, nearly 1.81 million tests have been carried out so far, including nearly 16,000 in the last 24 hours. So far 27,756 patients have recovered.
Coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) is an infectious disease caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). The disease was first identified in December 2019 in Wuhan, the capital of Hubei province in central China, and has since spread globally, resulting in the ongoing 2019-20 coronavirus pandemic. As of July 14, it has infected over 13 million people globally and killed over 577,000. Over 7 million have recovered so far.
