EU believes in continuing dialogue with Hungary and Poland
“We want to show Europeans that we share the same values despite cultural differences and different histories. We will continue the dialogue with Hungary and Poland because we believe that good communication and open dialogue are the best way to gradually improve, ”argues EU Justice Commissioner Didier Reynders in an interview with EURACTIV.hr.
In December 2020, an agreement was reached for EU countries to agree to the rule of law mechanism in the EU budget. According to Reynders, its implementation should be analyzed and any problems that may arise over time should be considered.
