International fund buys Ecologic and is hunting for more SaaS companies
Everfield, an international fund investing in European B2B software companies, has acquired Netmart System, the Warsaw-based creator of Ecologic, a fleet management platform used by clients such as Unilever, Skanska, British American Tobacco, Veolia, and Biofarm. It is Everfield’s third investment in Poland, after Atmoterm and Grafik Optymalny.
Founded in 2013, Netmart’s Ecologic platform combines telematics, ERP fleet management, driver gamification, and safe-driving training. Its algorithm analyzes more than 800 road events per trip and turns the data into training and motivation programs. The platform manages over 30,000 vehicles for more than 300 corporate clients.
Netmart generated PLN 11.6 mln in revenue and PLN 2.3 mln in net profit last year. Its founders, Emil Żak and Robert Bastrzyk, sold all shares but will remain in management, while the 21-person Warsaw team will stay unchanged.
Everfield says it plans 2 to 3 deals annually in Poland and CEE. It sees AI as an opportunity, not a threat, for specialized SaaS companies.
