Poland’s data center boom

Poland’s data center market is set to nearly triple by 2030, reaching 500 MW of capacity, up from 174 MW in 2023, according to JLL. By then, up to 25% of capacity will cater to artificial intelligence (AI) demands. Currently, the country hosts over 120 facilities, with Warsaw dominating as a hub, housing 48 of them—68% of the capital's capacity is used for colocation and hosting.
Global players are drawn to Poland due to favorable real estate conditions and Warsaw’s robust infrastructure. Significant investments include Atman’s 19,000 m² center in Duchnice and Data4’s campus in Jawczyce.
The sector’s growth is fueled by AI, big data, and cloud computing. Hyperscale facilities catering to cloud giants like AWS, Google, and Microsoft are expanding. Daniel Stępniak of JLL highlights AI’s rising importance, predicting it will account for a quarter of Poland’s data center capacity by 2030.
