ROBYG in tribute to Warsaw Insurgents

In connection with the 76th anniversary of the outbreak of the Warsaw Uprising (on August 1), the ROBYG Group co-financed the construction of a monument representing Stanisław Jankowski, pseud. "Agaton". The ceremonial unveiling of the monument at the square at the intersection of ul. Karowa and Browarna, and the laying of flowers on the grave at the Evangelical-Augsburg Cemetery with the participation of donors and insurgents will take place on Sunday, August 2 from 10.00. ROBYG Group actively supports the needy, seniors and insurgents, medical institutions during the coronavirus pandemic, as well as cultural and sports events.
“The Warsaw insurgents are great heroes of free Poland. It is our duty to perpetuate the memory of their heroic deeds and to pass on their legacy to our children and grandchildren. As a responsible entity building the communities of Polish cities, we are proud that we can support such important initiatives. Our friendship with the insurgents has been going on for several years – we hope that we could at least partially convey our gratitude and the gratitude of thousands of our clients. We create a new, comprehensive urban fabric in Poland, invest in public infrastructure and build local communities. Our commitment to helping those in need and supporting cultural and sports initiatives is part of the social responsibility program of the ROBYG Group, which has been conducted for many years,” Zbigniew Wojciech Okoński, President of the Management Board of ROBYG Group, said.
