The Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego (BGK) has provided PLN 100 million in loans to support the tourism sector in Eastern Poland, primarily benefiting micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises. This funding comes from a total project budget of PLN 532 million, with PLN 452.35 million sourced from the European Regional Development Fund.
Launched earlier this year, the loans feature favorable terms, including fixed interest rates (2% annually), no fees, and repayment schedules tailored to the seasonal nature of tourism. Loans are often used for building or renovating hotels, vacation homes, restaurants, and sports facilities, emphasizing innovation. Eligibility requires creditworthiness, a sound business plan, and project location within specific Eastern Polish regions. Loan repayment spans up to seven years.
