Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Affairs, Krzysztof Gawkowski, unveiled the "Digitalization Strategy for Poland," a ten-year plan aiming for over PLN 100 billion in digital spending by 2030. The strategy, currently open for public consultation, envisions that by 2035, 5% of Poland's GDP will be dedicated to digital governance.
Key goals include providing all citizens with digital access to public services, ensuring 85% of the population possesses basic digital skills, and achieving complete electronic management for public tasks. The strategy also aims for widespread use of AI tools in firms and establishing a digital identity wallet for 20 million Poles. The finalized strategy is expected to be presented to the government in 2025.
