‘I can't imagine the minimum wage in '21 lower than in '20’: Emilewicz, MR

“I can't imagine that the minimum wage in 2021 would be lower than in 2020,” development minister Jadwiga Emilewicz said during a video conference on Thursday.
She declared that the government will start working on the budget law for next year somewhere in June.
“Then we will be able to answer the question of how this minimum pay will be shaped next year,” she added.
The minimum wage in 2020 is PLN 2,600 gross. During the campaign before the parliamentary elections, Law and Justice (PiS) declared raising the minimum wage by 15 percent annually up to PLN 4,000 in 2023.
