Number of insolvencies in Poland will drop by 4% y/y in ‘25

According to Allianz Trade, business insolvencies in Poland are expected to decrease by 4% in 2025, following an 8% increase in 2024. The number of bankruptcies is projected to drop to 4,650 in 2025 and further to 4,100 in 2026 (-12% y/y).
Globally, insolvencies will rise by 6% in 2025 and 3% in 2026, marking five consecutive years of growth (2022-2026). High interest rates, weak demand, and financial pressures in sectors like construction, retail, and services are key risks.
This crisis could endanger 2.3 million jobs worldwide in 2025, particularly in Western Europe (1.1 million) and North America (450,000), reaching the highest levels in a decade. Allianz Trade, a global leader in trade credit insurance, warns of ongoing economic uncertainty.
