99.3% of Poles choose products from promotional flyers when shopping
Nearly 88.3% of Polish consumers say they choose at least one product featured in a retailer’s promotional flyer while shopping. Some 17.8% do so every time, 70.5% sometimes, and 11.7% never. The share who select flyer items on every shopping trip is highest among supermarket customers, at 21.2%, followed by convenience stores at 17.6%, discounters at 17.5%, and hypermarkets at 15.6%.
Researchers say flyer promotions are closely linked to product turnover, particularly for everyday essentials, and can steer shoppers toward substitute brands, sizes, and packaging. The survey covered more than 8,000 consumers who actively use promotional flyers and shop regularly across major retail formats.
