Tichauer ART GALLERY launches in Browar Obywatelski in Tychy

On Saturday, September 26, one of the most important events in the field of art will take place: the grand opening of the Tichauer ART GALLERY at Browar Obywatelski in Tychy. On over 2,000 sqm, there will be space for the presentation of broadly understood contemporary art – painting, graphics, photography, sculpture, fashion and multimedia, as well as space for the implementation of the creative passions of young artists, with a wide educational offer and for the needs of cultural activities. The opening gala of Tichauer ART GALLERY will be connected with Industriada, which is the celebration of the Industrial Monuments Route and the largest festival of industrial heritage in our part of Europe.
On the site of the former brew house and storage room, in the historic part of the Browar Obywatelski complex, a unique initiative is being created, in the form of a comprehensive center for contemporary art, where activities in the field of artistic and multimedia education and supporting culture will be carried out. Tichauer ART GALLERY is the beating heart of this center, which will revive nineteenth-century architecture and where you will be able to taste and touch contemporary art in its various forms, including permanent and temporary exhibitions, conferences, workshops and creative openings.
“Our goal and dream is to make the Tichauer ART GALLERY an attractive artistic and tourist destination on the map of Silesia and a modern meeting place with culture, improving the quality of spending free time. We want to create a modern cultural institution that will be vibrant with life, stimulating the local community and promoting numerous artistic initiatives of artists from all over Poland. That is why our creative spaces open their doors to creative artists, including non-professionals, as well as promoters, patrons and art lovers,” Monika Chomiuk, Marketing Department Manager and Tichauer Project Manager, said
At the opening of the Tichauer ART GALLERY, you will be able to see an exhibition of painting and mixed techniques.
