InPost goes to arbitration against Allegro for PLN 200 mln

InPost has taken Allegro to arbitration, demanding PLN 98.7 million in penalties for allegedly restricting customer delivery choices. Allegro denies the accusations and refuses to pay. CEO Rafał Brzoska said InPost learned from users that their saved preferences were manipulated, breaching the long-term contract. He stressed the company must protect shareholder interests and follow the contractual path, with independent arbitrators expected to rule by late 2026.
Despite the dispute, InPost maintains operational talks with Allegro ahead of the holiday season. Brzoska noted that InPost is accelerating its international expansion—already generating 52% of revenues abroad—while Allegro remains heavily Poland-focused, warning that AI-driven shifts may disrupt traditional marketplace models.
